This Privacy Policy explains how Projevity Pty Ltd (ACN 696 573 154), the operator of Roedel, collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
When you create an account, we collect the following information:
You may optionally provide: age, gender, height, weight, body fat percentage, fitness goals, activities, and region. All profile data is controlled by you and can be updated or removed at any time.
When you enable third-party integrations (such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, Whoop, Fitbit, Strava, Hevy, or Samsung Health), the app may import the following numeric health metrics only:
Roedel does NOT import: Heart rate or medical records, GPS routes or location data, or social posts from external apps.
We collect data related to your app usage, including: meal logs, posts, comments, reactions, group memberships, and challenge participation.
Device type, operating system, and app version for performance optimization.
Coach Mando (an AI-powered coach) may analyse nutrition logs (calories, protein, carbs, fat), macro adherence, calorie expenditure, sleep data, and activity levels. This is used solely for personalised coaching within the app. AI-generated insights are informational only and do not constitute medical advice.
We use your information to provide and improve the service, calculate nutritional estimates, power Coach Mando, display leaderboards, and detect abuse or fraud.
Projevity Pty Ltd does not sell your personal health data. Your data may be shared with other users (based on your settings), infrastructure providers, analytics services, and law enforcement if required by law.
Roedel may display advertisements. You can control whether ads are personalised through the "Personalised Ads" setting. You will be asked for consent on first launch.
Roedel integrates with Open Food Facts for product data via barcode scans. Health integrations use secure OAuth authentication.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and HTTPS. Row-Level Security (RLS) protects personal biometrics and private posts.
You have the right to access, download, correct, or delete your data. Account deletion will permanently remove your profile data and health imports within 30 days.
Roedel provides "Ghost Mode" to make your profile invisible to non-friends and granular controls for post visibility.
We retain data while your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.
Roedel is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy periodically and will notify users of significant changes through the app.
